Hollyoaks actor Bob Cryer has joined Coronation Street.
The soap star, who is best known for his role as evil Glenn Donovan, will play James Bailey's football manager who helps him come out as gay.
His character will help him combat all of his struggles as a gay footballer at Weatherfield County.
Bob is set to appear in the ITV soap for two episodes later this year.
This comes after Bob previously appeared as villain Glenn in rival Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks as he caused havoc in the village and terrorised Grace.

While she and other residents attempted to poison him, resident serial killer Breda McQueen got there first and murdered him in a bid to kill off all of the rubbish dads.
His role as the football manager won't have been Bob's first step onto the cobbles as he previously appeared as a policeman in 1998.
He also appeared in EastEnders back in 2011 as DS Tanfield and has already starred in Doctors, Holby City and The Bill.
This comes as James discovers next week that his ex Danny inadvertently outed him on social media.
While his mum Aggie is collecting an award at the Weatherfield Golden Hearts, a reporter questions him about the rumours regarding his sexuality online.
James denies he's gay and rushes home in a blind panic.
Later, Michael tells him that Danny has taken down the original message but James insists that it's too late and ends up confronting Danny.
Danny tells him that it was a mistake and that he hadn't meant to cause trouble.
James receives a message from his manager summoning him to a meeting with the Country press officer and he is terrified.
However the pair end up calling round his house to discuss his options and tell him that they will support him whatever he decides.
Despite that, James lies and tells them both that he isn't gay...
