Sarah Jayne Dunn has broken her silence after reportedly being sacked from Hollyoaks after refusing to delete her OnlyFans page.
The 40-year-old actress, who is one of the soap's biggest stars, has thanked fans for their support after she was unable to "reach a solution" with bosses over the content she would be posting on the site.
Sarah, who has appeared on Hollyoaks on-and-off as Mandy Richardson since 1996, was warned by soap chiefs that the raunchy online content was at odds with their younger audience.
She admitted that some fans would find the pictures "shocking" but she was "taking back control" by joining the website.

The actress posted on her Instagram Story a message to her followers, in which she said: "Thank you for your support".
Sarah, who had posed for a number of lads mags earlier in her career, had said that she was using OnlyFans as a platform for her "racier images".
She had said previously: "I'm simply moving my sexier, racier images to another platform.
“This is a decision I’ve thought long and hard about, not one I’ve taken lightly or on a whim, it’s about taking back control, about empowerment and confidence and having full power over my choices."
It would seem that this was at loggerheads with the perception the soap bosses had of her decision.

A source told The Sun : "Nobody at the show wishes to condemn people’s personal decisions about OnlyFans or online content – and of course women are totally free to make their own choices about the sort of photographs they wish to take of themselves – but this was about whether it is something that tallies with the show’s audience."
A Hollyoaks spokesperson told the publication: "Hollyoaks is a youth-facing drama with many young viewers, who follow our cast very closely, both in the soap and outside of it.
“We take our responsibility to our young audience very seriously and therefore the show does not allow any Hollyoaks cast members to be active on certain 18+ websites.
“We had hoped we could reach a resolution with Sarah that would allow her to remain in her role as Mandy, but we respect her choice to continue to produce content on OnlyFans."
