Hollyoaks’ Malique Thompson-Dwyer was 'predator' on Celebs Go Dating with foot fetish

Hollyoaks star Malique Thompson-Dwyer has opened up on his experience on Celebs Go Dating.

The actor revealed he was incredibly nervous in the lead up to his dates, so he went heavy on the booze to try to boost his confidence.

It worked a little too well - and when it was time for his mixer he says he "felt like a predator".

Malique, 22, plays Prince McQueen on Hollyoaks - but he realised he wasn't as comfortable with cameras as he once thought.

Speaking at the E4 show's launch, he revealed he tried to kiss two women and discussed his secret foot fetish.

"Can I just say I was very drunk ... I'm not drunk now, I do love feet. I'm not going to lie," he said.

"I was quite nervous coming onto the show But I enjoyed myself a little bit too much.

"I think the drink helped me out a lot. I think if I was sober I would've handled it a lot different. But I was in the mood.

He added he told co star James Lock how nervous he was before the mixer, but once he got into it he was "a predator".

The experience made him realise he isn't used to having cameras "in his face" even though he is an actor.

He also opened up about his reasons for going on the show, confessing: "I'm getting to the age now where I'm kind of taking over everything myself.

"It would be lovely to come home and have a lovely lady cook me dinner and that. What can I say?"

Malique is joined by TOWIE star Amy Childs, This Morning's Alison Hammond, Love Island's Amy Hart, TOWIE's James Lock, EastEnders star Dean Gaffney, Charlotte Crosby's ex Joshua Ritchie, and Made In Chelsea's Olivia Bentley, and on the first episode, the celebs entered a room full of strangers.

They had to network with the potential love interests, and ask two out on dates.

* Celebs Go Dating starts on Monday 24th February on E4
