Hollyoaks' legendary serial killer Silas Blissett to return to soap next week

Hollyoaks' legendary serial killer Silas Blissett is set to make an explosive comeback as the Channel 4 soap airs its classic episodes.

The nefarious villain, who tormented the village from 2010 until 2012 and then again in 2016, will be back for a few episodes of Hollyoaks Favourites.

Considered one of Hollyoaks' most famous serial killers, Silas has killed six women, including his own daughter Heidi and fellow serial killer Lindsey Butterfield.

And his reign of terror will resume next week as the soap rewinds back to Halloween 2011 when his revenge plan against nurse Lynsey Nolan went very wrong.

As celebrations are in full swing, Lyndsey hits Silas over the head and runs off.

Silas makes his way after Lyndsey and sees who he believes to be her dressed as catwoman.

He hits her over the head and discovers that he has actually killed his daughter Heidi by accident.

The next episode sees Mercedes, who has been kidnapped by Silas, horrified after discovering what he has done.

In the final third episode, Silas is arrested after being knocked to the ground by Riley, who demands to know what he has done with Mercedes.

But Silas remains tight lipped and refuses to tell him.

Silas previously returned to the Channel 4 soap when he teamed up with Gloved Hand Killer Lindsey Butterfield.

However, soap boss Bryan Kirkwood has confirmed that there would be no killer team-up again with Silas any time soon.

He said: "That was serial killer in cahoots with serial killer [and] was great fun at the time but we won't be revisiting that."

*Hollyoaks Favourites episodes air Wednesday June 3 - Friday June 5th at 6.30pm on Channel 4
