Hollyoaks star Moya Brady has teased a "full on" Hollyoaks Later that will rival a Quentin Tarantino movie.
The Breda McQueen actress, who will take centre stage in the special episode in the new year, promised viewers can expect the Channel 4 soap to "push boundaries".
Speaking amid the Who Shot Mercedes? storyline that will begin next week, with Breda being a suspect, Moya teased fans would not want to miss the return of the series - which will be a one-off special episode this time around.
The series is known for being much gorier and explicit than the normal soap in the earlier time slot.
The actress said: "Terribly excited about doing Hollyoaks Later. I think it’s safe to say that this will put Tarantino to shame!
"It’s going to make Tarantino look like the Magic Roundabout, if any of you remember that. Let’s say it’s going to be pretty full on – it’s all about Breda, rightly so!"
She added: "It’s been about five years since Hollyoaks has done this and Hollyoaks always pushes the boundaries anyway, but the boundaries are pushed even further, further, further.
"It’s a great honour."
It's been revealed that Breda's killer storyline will come to an end in the dark and gruesome special episode.
Breda is yet to be discovered as the village serial killer, having killed the likes of Louis Loveday, Harry Thompson, Russ Owen and Carl Costello.
Tony Hutchinson, Harry's dad, did discover the truth and has been held hostage by Breda at the pig farm ever since.
The storyline will come to an end in the coming months, but it's not known how long it will be until Tony's fate is confirmed.
Breda's daughter Goldie McQueen also thinks her mum killed Harry, so it's only a matter of time before the truth is revealed.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode at 7pm on E4.
