This Morning star Sharon Marshall has teased the "blood and gore" in store ahead of the upcoming Hollyoaks Later return.
The popular late-night spin-off of the Channel 4 soap will make a comeback for one episode in January 2020.
It's confirmed the special episode will see a dramatic end to the killer Breda McQueen storyline, while exact details are being kept under wraps.
Now, soap queen Sharon has hinted at what fans can expect, promising "blood and gore" in the violent episode.
Speaking on This Morning on Tuesday, she teased more twists and turns to come.
She said: "They're bringing it back. Now these have traditionally been late-night spin-offs, lots of guts and gore.
"There's always been a lot of blood on these. This will be the end of Breda the serial killer's big storyline.
"We know that she's gonna be after Joel as well, is there gonna be another murder?"
Sharon added: "January 2020, kicking off the big 25th anniversary year, and I've just been told there's a lot of blood, a lot of gore and it's gonna be big."
Soap boss Bryan Kirkwood recently confirmed details of the spin-off, telling Metro.co.uk: "We are delighted to bring back Hollyoaks Later in January for one very special episode.
"There is no better time to bring the Breda story to a close than a 10pm spectacular. The story has been a brilliant ride for us all and particularly Moya, who has been so invested in this character.
"We’ve taken the audience on a similar ride – they loved her and now hate her!"
Teasing what's to come, he added: "There are a few more twists but we will bring it right back round to this being about family, about her son and daughter and it will end in spectacular fashion."
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode airing at 7pm on E4.
