Hollyoaks first look as AJ Pritchard joins soap as Curtis' twin Marco

Hollyoaks has shared a first look at AJ Pritchard as he makes his first appearance on the Channel 4 soap.

The former Strictly Come Dancing pro and his brother, Love Island star Curtis, left fans stunned after announcing that they would be joining Hollyoaks earlier this year.

Fans will be able to get a glimpse of AJ on screen on Friday during its E4 episode, but the soap also dropped its Spring trailer teasing his future scenes.

AJ, 26, will be playing dancer Marco and will arrive on the soap as a rival of Trish Minniver's (Denise Welch).

Also joining will be Curtis, 24, who is playing Marco's twin in the village.

In awkward scenes from the trailer, AJ is seen grinning as he sits in a plastic chair watching Trish prance around on stage.

How will Trish react to their arrival in Hollyoaks?

"I can’t believe we will be featuring on Hollyoaks, we have grown up with the show on TV and it’s always been one of our favourite serial dramas," AJ said after confirming the news.

The dancer quit Strictly early last year in a bid to pursue new opportunities, one of which included a stint on the first UK-based I'm A Celeb in Castle Gwrych.

AJ finished sixth on the show, which saw Giovanna Fletcher crowned as the Queen of the Castle.

Meanwhile, since leaving Love Island, Curtis has appeared on the Greatest Dancer as a receptionist and, more recently, Celebs Go Dating as he tried to find love. Again.

*Hollyoaks airs weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 7pm on E4
