Hollyoaks fans in tears as Ollie is forced to give up his baby son

Heartbroken Hollyoaks fans were in tears this evening after Ollie Morgan was forced to give up his baby son.

The teen footballer, played by Aedan Duckworth, was told the devastating news that his dad Luke was dying earlier this evening.

He had been planning to keep his baby after Brooke revealed she didn't wish to be a mum, however when Luke was told his dementia was hereditary he told Ollie that he wouldn't be able to help him raise a baby.

As a result, Ollie had to say goodbye to his son.

After hearing his results from the doctor, a horrified Luke told Darren: "It means it’s not just about me anymore - the kids might have it. DJ, Ollie, my grandson…"

Luke went on to speak about his condition, saying: "It’s a brain condition, further down the line it will affect my memory and my body. It’s terminal. It’s progressing slowly. I’ve got five years, maybe more."
