Hollyoaks fans fear rapist Laurie will kill Sinead as he escapes prison

Hollyoaks fans are concerned for Sinead O’Connor’s safety, as the character, played by actress Stephanie Davis, could be in danger.

Sinead was trying to hail down a car in the middle of nowhere during Monday’s E4 episode, after a rejection from Sami Maalik at the festival they were at.

Deciding to head home, she had no idea what was unfolding back near Hollyoaks after a dramatic police van crash.

Laurie Shelby, her estranged husband who was sent to prison for raping her, was being transported in a police van, before being joined by another familiar face.

Sinead’s brother Finn O’Connor, also a prisoner, happened to be in the same van - and it wasn’t long before he figured out Laurie’s identity.

The two men ended up fighting, but suddenly the police van crashed leaving them both unconscious.

However, Laurie soon woke up and did a runner, while Sinead was unknowingly walking into potential danger.

As she tried to hail down a car, suddenly she heard a familiar voice call out her name and as she turned around Laurie was waiting for her.

Sinead was horrified as a slightly injured Laurie stared at her with his car door open, while she had nowhere to run.

Viewers will have to wait until Tuesday’s E4 episode to find out what happens, but they’re hoping she manages to escape him.
