Hollyoaks fans devastated as Myra McQueen is jilted by Sally at the alter

Hollyoaks fans were left devastated this evening as Myra McQueen was jilted at the alter by lover Sally.

Sally was left heartbroken after overhearing in the toilets that Myra had cheated on her with the wedding DJ.

After hearing Mercedes and Sylver's vows to one another, Sally realised that she couldn't go through with the wedding.

As she reached the alter, Sally tearfully told her: "I can't. How can we get married when you don't even know who you are?"

She then ran outside, quickly followed by Myra who pleaded with her to go through with the wedding.

But Sally then revealed that she had found out about her cheating.

"Sally don't do this," Myra pleaded.

But Sally was firm in her resolve, saying: "It's over Myra. You wanted a wedding, not a woman!"

And fans were in bits, with one tweeting: "I'm actually heartbroken at @Hollyoaks they deserve happiness, maybe one day in the future @anniewallace @nicolebarberlan you both was amazing shame Sally and Myra didn't get married #Hollyoaks #McQueenWedding."

While another commented: "Poor Sally."

A third remarked: "WHYYYYYYY!!! I actually thought they was gonna get a happy ending! #Hollyoaks #mcqueenwedding."

One wrote: "Sally's breaking my heart @Hollyoaks #Hollyoaks."
