Hollyoaks' David Tag to become a dad for the second time as he shares sweet family snap

Hollyoaks star David Tag has announced his girlfriend Abi Harrison is pregnant with their second child.

The actor, who played Sylver McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, shared the happy news on Instagram as he posted a picture of Abi's blossoming baby bump.

In the black-and-white snap, Abi proudly cradled her belly as she held hands with the couple's one-year-old son Reuben during a family trip to the seaside.

"My little boy is soon going to be a big brother," David wrote and added a blue heart emoji.

Abi and David were congratulated by their fans and famous friends.

David's Hollyoaks co-star Parry Glasspool wrote: " Oh my lawwwwd, congrats mate! Big move!"

A third fan said: "How amazing huge congratulations."

David and Abi welcomed their first child Reuben back in June 2021.

Shortly after the birth of their first baby, the couple admitted they were already hoping to add to their family.

David first joined Hollyoaks playing PSCO Rocco, but he re-joined in 2018 playing a different character, Sylver McQueen.

He was a fan favourite during his time on the soap and his character was involved in a number of explosive storylines before he was dramatically killed off in an explosion in January 2022.

Before his death, Sylver murdered his serial killer mum Breda with knitting needles in 2020.

David also had a small part in Emmerdale in 2017, starring as Darryl.

His other acting credits include playing Thomas in the short film S.A.M., which was released last year.
