Hollyoaks confirms Tony Hutchinson is alive after 'murder' as whereabouts revealed

Hollyoaks confirmed Tony Hutchinson was alive in a new twist on Monday, days after he appeared to be murdered.

Fans were left reeling as Tony appeared to be killed off by Breda last week after working out she was a serial killer.

Tony figured out she was behind the deaths of residents including his own son Harry Thompson, and Louis Loveday.

But instead of handing herself in, she stabbed Tony and appeared to kill him in scenes that left viewers heartbroken.

On Friday's E4 episode, Breda decided to drop "the truth" about what happened to Tony on his wife.

As the episode picked up on Monday, fans were fearing the worst and thought she'd either confess to the murder, or, most likely, frame Tony for the murders or make up another lie to stop Diane looking for him.

It's then that Breda claimed Tony was living a double life and had ran off with a lady named Alison.

But fans were left stunned when at the end of Hollyoaks on Monday, the truth about Tony's disappearance was finally revealed.

While his friends gathered around Diane unable to believe he had cheated on her and had done a runner, they were unaware that Breda had lied.

It's then that Breda was shown rocking up at her pig farm, and Tony was revealed to be inside.

She said: "How’s my little miracle today?" before the camera panned to an unconscious Tony on the floor.

While he's alive, he's by no means safe!

Viewers raced to Twitter over the scenes, with one commenting: 'TONY IS ALIVE AND I HAVE FAITH AGAIN."

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode at 7pm on E4.
