Hollyoaks stars Claire Cooper and Emmett Scanlan are expecting their first baby together.
Pregnant Claire, who played ex-con Jacqui McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, confirmed the beautiful news today on Instagram, sharing a picture of her growing bump.
She and Emmett, who played Brendan Brady in the soap, got married in 2015 and are set to become parents later this summer.
Confirming her pregnancy in a length post, the 39-year-old actress wrote: "Feeling it all and so happy to share.
"I've been growing into a mama oh so quietly and discreetly, tip toeing a tightrope with the ebs and flows of pregnancy...finding the seclusion exactly what I/we needed to captain the last seven months together, so much joy, so many belly laughs, so much belly, so much morning sickness and moments of fear.
"Experiencing this journey without too much noise around us allowing ourselves to be fully immersed into this reality we hold, giving us the time to adjust and feel but REALLY FEEL - to stop and listen, cutting out the hot noise shaped by other experiences whether they be good or bad, it's allowed our journey to be deeply intimate and intuitive.
"We now feel our little person kicking and limbering up! and now we sit looking at each other wide eyed smiling nervously at the wonder, beauty and weirdness of what we are right now and what's to come ... holding this beautiful space and feeling so grateful."
The happy couple's co-stars were first to congratulate Claire on her pregnancy, with Steph Waring - who plays Cindy Cunningham - telling her: "Congratultions Clare you will be an amazing mummy."
Jorgie Porter, who played Theresa McQueen, wrote: "Claire this is wonderful! I'm so so so happy for you in fact I'm teary you are gunna be the best mum ever."
Emmett, 41, also shared the same cute snap on his personal Instagram page with the caption: "Inside this angel another Scanlan stretches its horns.."
This will be his second child, as he also has teenage daughter Kayla from a previous relationship.
Since leaving Hollyoaks in 2010, Claire has appeared in 12 Monkeys, Six Wives With Lucy Worsley and Derren Brown Investigates.
Husband Emmett has bagged roles in Guardians Of The Galaxy, The Fall and In The Flesh since his time in the Hollyoaks village.
