Hollyoaks will be celebrating a huge milestone later this year, with October marking the Channel 4 soap's 25th anniversary on-air.
Planning is already well underway for the milestone, with several hints having been dropped recently.
Boss Bryan Kirkwood even teased a stunt could rock the birthday, while adding original character Tony Hutchinson would take centre stage.
Every year the soap pulls out all the stops for the annual October stunt, with the next one expected to be their biggest ever given it's their big birthday.
But the cast are just as much in the dark as viewers it seems, not being told anything about the huge scenes.
Speaking exclusively to Mirror Online , actress Nikki Sanderson who plays Maxine Minniver has confessed she's not been told a thing.
While it's a way off yet before the filming begins, planning is full steam ahead - except the stars of the show will have to wait before finding out what it holds for them.
Nikki confessed they're "not being told anything" for now as she awaits details like the viewers watching at home - so at this point there's not much to be spilled it seems.
She told us: "We are not being told anything about what will be going on for the 25th anniversary!
"So it is as much a surprise for us at the moment as it is to you. It's all very exciting.
"Everyone wants a bit of it, everyone wants to be a part of it. We all want to know what is going on but we don’t know."
She added: "Leading up to the anniversary, I literally can’t tease anything cos I’m in the dark."
Nikki's character Maxine is currently at the centre of a new storyline, as Liam Donovan's plan for revenge on her over his brother's death leads to her prostituting herself - needing money to care for her daughter Minnie.
She recently lost everything and everyone as her lies were exposed, after she claimed she was seriously ill.
Maxine was diagnosed with Munchausen’s syndrome, which the NHS describes as "a psychological disorder where someone pretends to be ill or deliberately produces symptoms of illness in themselves".
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode at 7pm on E4.
