Hollyoaks has aired the first socially distant birth scene in a British soap but fans couldn't help but noticed something strange.
The Channel 4 soap saw popular character Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) welcome a baby girl for her half-sister Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) and partner Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward).
However, it did not come without its hiccups, for as Liberty attended an ante-natal class with Brody, he was left disturbed by a reminder of his abuser Buster Smith (Nathan Sussex).
After Buster stormed off, Liberty went looking for him but got a shock when she went into labour near the Cunninghams' Grande Bazaar.
Unable to get an ambulance in time, Liberty is taken to The Hutch to give birth and she does, welcoming a baby girl for Sienna and her partner - while at a healthy distance from all those present due to restrictions around Covid-19.

However, Hollyoaks fans couldn't help but notice a strange detail about the labour - why didn't Liberty get walked to the nearby hospital?
Taking to Twitter, one fan questioned: " @Hollyoaks the village isn’t that big! Surely someone could have driven Libby to the hospital in less than 10 mins! No need to give birth on a restaurant floor".
"Na hollyoaks is funny the hospital is literally next door yet liberty is giving birth on the hutch floor," echoed another.

Meanwhile, a different Hollyoaks fan added: "Don’t know what all the fuss is about. I swear the hospital is just around the corner? #Hollyoaks ".
Elsewhere, another fan tweeted: "I swear they live right by the hospital- #Hollyoaks ".
As Liberty was in hospital after the birth, one fan noticed:
"Oh look she’s in hospital now. #fussovernothing #Hollyoaks ".

Finally, one Hollyoaks fan concluded that the ambulance turning up for Liberty was actually just downright reckless.
They concluded: "Walk her to the hospital, you’re only a minute away. Bloody waste of an ambulance! #Hollyoaks ".
Will Sienna and Bordy get their happily ever after with their new baby? And how will Liberty feel post-birth?
Hollyoaks airs from Monday to Thursday on Channel 4 at 6.30pm, with a first look episode airing on E4 at 7pm.
