Hollyoaks actor heartbroken as he pleads for help as beloved pet goes missing

Hollyoaks actor James Sutton has pleaded for help in finding his beloved missing pet.

The 39 year old, who plays John Paul McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, took to his Instagram Stories after losing his cat Ralph.

Asking fans for help, he called for anyone to keep an eye out in his local area in Liverpool and said that the cat was not microchipped nor collared.

Sharing a photo of the cat, which was black cat with a white patch under his chin, white paws and green eyes.

He wrote: "'Ralph' has gone missing in the L4 Walton area of Liverpool. Please keep an eye out for him.

"He's not chipped and has no collar. Thanks."

James went on to thank fans for their "kind advice", adding: "Thank you to everyone for sharing my story and for your kind advice. No sign of him yet but I live in hope."

It comes after his former Hollyoaks co-star Gary Lucy paid tribute to the NHS staff who saved his life following a horrific car crash.

The actor, 41, also thanked 'one special nurse in particular' as he shared a sweet tribute to his new girlfriend, former Love Island star Laura Anderson.

Scottish star Laura and Gary - who met thanks to TV show Celebs Go Dating - had been spending their first Christmas together when the former Footballers' Wives actor ended up in Glasgow Royal Infirmary on Boxing Day thanks to crashing his vehicle.

Gary shared pictures on Instagram of his car after the smash, which had been left a wreck, telling followers "Someone was watching over me today [100 per cent emoji]."
