Holly Willoughly fluffs Love Island announcement after huge build up

This Morning host Holly Willoughby got her words mixed up as she delivered the big announcement on Love Island's return.

Holly joined co-host Phillip Schofield for Wednesday's show and after a County Durham caller sparked a debate over her relationship woes, the much built up moment finally arrived when Holly was tasked with revealing when Love Island 2021 starts.

Taking one of the ITV2 dating show's most famous traditions as he inspiration, Holly read out a text revealing all, as a message also flashed up on screen to reveal Love Island will be back on screen on Monday, June 28 at 9pm.

But when it came to reading out how viewers can watch it, Holly fluffed her lines saying ITV Tub instead of ITV Hub.

Phillip quickly stepped into question: "Tub? Hub, on the Hub as the ITV Tub is just like a bath channel, don't watch that one."

Holly replied: "Watch ITV Hub, that's much better."

She then regained composure to finish the announcement with "#thisnotadrill #crackon," adding: "That's exciting isn't it?!"

As well as delivering the news Love Island fans had been waiting for, Holly and Phillip also revealed that the famous Love Island water bottle has had a makeover, as they also showed off their personalised Love Island suitcases and Phillip even showcased a dressing gown inspired by the show.

The last time Love Island was on screen was January 2020, with its one and only winter series to date being won by Paige Turley and Finn Tapp, who unlike many other Love Island couples, are still very much together.
