Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left beaming from ear to ear on today’s This Morning show as they got the chance to sit on the famous Friends Central Perk sofa.
Friends fans across the globe have been eagerly awaiting the much-anticipated reunion show which aired in America yesterday.
Fans in the UK don’t have long to wait themselves as the much-loved gang of six return to British screens tonight, Thursday 27 May.
Massive fans of the show, Holly and Phil couldn’t hide their excitement as they got the chance to lay about on the couch made famous by Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe and Ross.
The TV pair made themselves at home on the sofa which was brought in for a special segment on the hit ITV show.
With the This Morning set made up to look like Central Perk, Holly and Phil got into the spirit of things, laughing and giggling away like awestruck fans.
Introducing the segment with the sitcom's theme tune playing in the background, Phil said: “It’s what we’ve all been waiting for. After 17 years apart the cast of Friends have finally reunited.”
Phil went on to reveal he travelled to the U.S to watch an episode live, adding: “I was lucky enough to watch one episode, extraordinary how it worked.
“It didn't get the laugh they wanted so the warm up guy stopped filming and they all sat round a table in the flat and rewrote the scene."
The beloved TV comedy's celebrated run ended in May 2004 after 10 seasons and 236 episodes.
The show will be available on Thursday, May 27 in the UK, on-demand from 8am and then will air on Sky One at 8pm.
