Holly Willoughby tells viewers to 'prepare' minutes into ITV This Morning as Phillip Schofield outs 'late' guest

Holly Willoughby was quick to give viewers of This Morning a warning as they tuned into the latest episode. The presenter was clearly in the festive spirit as she appeared in the ITV daytime show's studio which has been decked out with Christmas trees alongside Phillip Schofield.

And they had another busy show on their hands. Kicking off the latest edition of the programme, Holly, 41, and Phillip, 60, kicked off the show by greeting viewers and quickly getting stuck into their first interview.

"They say a picture paints a thousand words and that couldn't be more true for our next guest," Holly began before Phillip introduced James Cook to viewers, a 25-year-old artist who creates portraits with a typewriter. He appeared alongside two of he newest pictures of the show's hosts which he brought in specially for his appearance on the show.

The hosting duo chatted to James about how he got into typewriter art and how this is now his full-time job, getting commissions from "all over the world". James went on to share how sometimes you have to "live with the mistakes" of his unique style of art but admitted Holly and Phillip's portraits did take four attempts.

After James wowed the hosts, it was time to move on with the show and Holly and Phillip revealed what else was to come including Gok Wan who was on hand with his 'shapewear masterclass'.

It is then when Holly warned: "Prepare for chaos..." before explaining: "Gino [D'Acampo] is in the kitchen and he's not only cooking us a festive feast of turkey in masala sauce but he's making us cocktails too." The TV star then could be heard saying: "Yikes," before Phillip chipped in to out their co-star.

"It would be nice for him to tell you about it himself but you know he's always late. He never arrives on time," he said but Holly replied: "Listen, can I just say, enjoy the peace! Because you know when he descends it's going to be chaos so let's just enjoy the moment."

Gino the last time he was on This Morning (ITV)

And Holly's not wrong. The last time the Italian chef was on the show he left the hosts stunned. After previous appearances in the same role, Gino was back for a fresh 'agony uncle' segment. And it didn't appear to get off to the best of starts as the 46-year-old misunderstood the title and thought Holly and Phillip were calling him 'ugly'.

After getting that cleared up and with Holly and Phillip on tenterhooks, it was time to move on with some of the viewers' queries but it didn't take long for things to take a turn. One woman called Gemma phoned in for some advice as she explained that her wedding day was coming up in two weeks, but she was experiencing nerves in the lead-up to the big occasion.

She said: "I’m just a little bit nervous, a little bit stressed. I’m just wondering how you would cope with it." Gino was quite sympathetic towards Gemma and told her nerves were completely normal. "Do what you want to do, stop listening to people around you, and relax," he went on to advise. "Find something that makes you relax. Anything will do. I’ve got an idea…" While Gino pondered whether he could say what he wanted to say, Holly, 41, interjected to ask: "A long walk?"

"I was thinking something different, but if you want to go for a long walk, you go for a long walk,’ Gino replied leaving Holly and Phillip wondering what it was he was going to say. But instead of leaving it there, Gino leaned towards and attempted to ask quietly: "Can you say the word masturbate?"

Phillip shook his head with a disapproving look on his face at the side while Gino took their reaction and asked again: "No, you can’t say that?" Phillip replied: "No, don’t say that," before Gino returned to the call and took Holly's advice and said: "Go for a long walk Gemma! Long walk will do the trick."
