Holly Willoughby was left red-faced after she awkwardly got chocolate cake stuck between her teeth on This Morning.
The TV presenter grabbed a huge slice with her hands and attempted to scoff it down during a cooking segment on the ITV show.
But things didn’t go quite to plan as she choked immediately, forcing her to turn around and hide her face from the camera.
Her co-host Phillip Schofield demanded she “put it down” before hailing her “very ladylike” through laughter.
Attempting to remove the cake crumbs from around her mouth, she put down the chocolate treat and grabbed a towel before erupting into laughter.
Alice Beer, who joined Willoughby and Schofield for the segment, snorted at the TV host before giggling at the mess.
Despite Willoughby’s best efforts to clean up she was left with a piece of cake stuck between her teeth.
As the trio attempted to move onto the next segment Beer awkwardly stopped the host mid-way through trying a selection of sweet treats to let her know.
“I’m going to tell you, you’ve got chocolate on your teeth,” she said.
An embarrassed Willoughby then asked for confirmation before attempting to get it out.
The hilarious moment comes amid an entertaining week for the show after Willoughby and Schofield were outsmarted by Joey Essex during Wednesday’s broadcast.
The pair quizzed the reality star on his age, with Essex revealing he is 28 and would be turning 30 next year.
Willoughby attempted to pull Essex up on his basic maths, saying: “No you’re not, you’re 28!”
Schofield then asked if he was “skipping” 29 before Essex revealed that he would be turning 29 later this year.
A smug Essex told the hosts: “29 is this year though! Did I just trick you? How did you not realise that?”
The error sent the trio into meltdown as they all giggled hysterically as Willoughby hailed it one of her “favourite” moments on the show.
