Holly Willoughby 'swears' and storms off This Morning in fury over Phil prank

This Morning viewers are convinced that Holly Willoughby swore live on-air after Philip Schofield scared her.

The 41-year-old covered her face and muffled what some fans think was the f-word, after Phil played a practical joke on her in the unexpected blunder.

As Phil, 60, introduced their next segment interviewing the cast of a new horror movie, Knock at the Cabin, he tried to scare his co-host by breaking from the auto cue mid-way through reading it.

“Before we find out more from its stars Rupert Grint and Ben Aldrich here’s a little bit of what to – wa!” he cried at mid-way through his sentence, making Holly jump back away from him.

“Fuuuu,” Holly can be heard saying on-air as she turns to the side and covers her face, before looking sheepishly at the camera.

“I haven’t done that for a while,” Phil said smugly as he beamed at the camera and added: “Ah it’s perfect.”

Phil continued smiling, before he started to giggle as he continued to tease Holly and finally she stormed off screen, embarrassed by her slip-up after the scare. He continued: “Here’s a little bit of what to expect for those of the nervous disposition.”

“Oh, I’ll go away then bye,” Holly said as she waved and walked off, leaving Phil laughing to himself before the footage rolled.

ITV fans were left shocked by the on-air blunder with many viewers wondering if Holly actually swore in the on-air blunder.

“I swear Holly dropped the F word,” one viewer tweeted, as another agreed: “Did Holly just say the F word??"

A third added about the situation: “Holly does not look happy.”

The duo continued with the programme after their banter, but Holly did not apologise for her slip up suggesting she might have stopped herself from swearing.

It would not be the first time the mother of three has let her language slip, after she was heard shouting “oh s***” last year live on the show.

There was no question about whether Holly had dropped the expletive on the show and she immediately apologised for the mistake.
