Holly Willoughby 'still got it' as she talks turning 40 on This Morning

Holly Willoughby is making the most of her upcoming birthday on Wednesday.

The This Morning star even admitted that she's "still go it" as co-host Phillip Schofield tried to prepare her for what may happen as she leaves her thirties behind.

The pair started the ITV show on Tuesday by discussing a recent newspaper article on things that can happen when you move into your forties to which Holly said was "not making her feel better" about her birthday.

Among the list was sprouty chin hairs, sharing pictures of your garden and lemon drizzle cake on Facebook, and making 'ooh' noises when you get up.

"I definitely do that already," Holly said. "I think after having three kids I do that permanently."

But there was one thing on the list that left her saying she has "still got it".

"You wear comfy shoes," Phil said to which Holly replied: "I don't think that's true.

"I'm still in a heel here. Although, heels now are for sitting," she giggled. "Not walking, that's what I'd say."

Phil eventually made Holly feel better about her upcoming birthday (ITV)

But Phil was quick to point out a skill Holly has not lost and will be the envy of women everywhere.

"No you still have the ability on Dancing On Ice, there's this one bit on Dancing On Ice where we have to go from one part of the set to another part and there's not much time and I run behind you.

"And I am still incredibly impressed at the speed you can run at in heels."

A grinning Holly chirped in: "Like a gazelle. Still got it."

Phil added: "You are a gazelle," as the pair started laughing."
