Holly Willoughby steps out in striking love coat after Valentine's tribute to hubby Dan

Holly Willoughby wore her feelings on her jacket as she photographed over the weekend wearing a duffle coat branded with the word 'Love'.

The star, who turned 40 last week, was spotted taking a walk through west London on Valentine's Day with her eldest son Harry and a female friend who brought her dog along for the stroll.

Holly made sure she was well wrapped up in her striking £760 coat that came with a romantic message written in huge white letters down her back.

The TV star finished her look with a pair of chic orange sunglasses and a white bobble hat with her signature blonde locks just visible.

Earlier in the day, a loved-up Holly took to Instagram to mark another Valentine's Day with her TV producer husband Dan Baldwin.

The mum-of-three shared a sunny snap with her husband arm-in-arm as they posed on the beach in pre lockdown times.

"My love" Holly wrote in the caption.

Holly was given another reason to celebrate last week as she celebrated turning 40 with a party on This Morning.

The presenter began her day with a huge applause by her work colleagues as she entered the ITV studios as the treats continued throughout the show.

Pals of Holly from her school friends to Spice Girl Emma Bunton dropped by to share their virtual birthday wishes.

While Phillip Schofield reduced her to tears as he recited an adoring poem written in her honour.

Phil called his co-host the sister he never had as Holly sobbed on the sofa.

As she couldn't be with her parents on her special day, Holly opted to wear the same dress that her mum Linda wore on her 40th birthday party.

Sharing a throwback photo of her glamorous mum on Twitter donning the same peplum floral number, Holly explained: "I asked her if she’d kept the dress and of course she had.

"Strange moment zipping it up this morning, wondering how she felt on her big day... I can’t be with my Mum or Dad today but wearing this in her honour makes me feel closer to them... love you Mumma."
