Holly Willoughby was left screaming in terror on This Morning today - after being wound up by co-star Phillip Schofield.
The presenting duo had only been on air for a few minutes before Phillip was seen looking distracted by and staring at Holly.
While Holly spoke about TV smash hit Succession, she was caught off guard by Phillip acting strangely, and eventually asked him what was wrong.
As Holly asked what was going on, Phillip said: “Well, you've got... it's Halloween coming up, don't panic, but you've got a spider in your hair.”
That was all Holly needed to start freaking out, demanding her friend “get it out” as quickly as possible and curling up in her seat in terror.
However, she immediately relaxed when he showed her the offending creepy-crawlie - a tiny little money spider that couldn’t hurt anyone.
As she let her shoulders down, he told her: “It’s only a tiny one.”
Holly’s anger then moved over to her pal as she realised she’d been duped.
“Can you say you've got a money spider, when I'm expecting like a tarantula on my head?!” she asked.
“Well no, I’m not going to say that am I? Where’s the fun in that?” cheeky Phillip replied.
Holly added: “It’s meant to be really lucky isn’t it?”
The old wives’ tale that money spiders bring good fortune may well be true for Holly - who has just launched her own beauty and lifestyle brand, Wylde Moon.
The venture is being touted as the UK rival to Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop website, with Holly offering her must-have ideas.
The site is revamped once a month ‘ in keeping with the cycle of a moon’ , however some of her choices have left fans confused.
Among them is a £65 candle that smells like tomato leaf , fancy chocolate and a £45 diffuser.
