Holly Willoughby splashes about in the sea ahead of I'm A Celebrity launch

Holly Willoughby took a relaxing stroll along the beach ahead of three weeks of creepy crawlies and Bushtucker Trials on I’m A Celebrity.

Willoughby, 37, posted a video of herself walking along the water’s edge in Brisbane ahead of Sunday night’s launch show.

Wearing a denim skirt, the This Morning presenter paddled on the shore days after landing Down Under to take over from Ant McPartlin on the ITV reality TV show.

The mother-of-three, who flew out with her husband Dan Baldwin and their children, will present alongside Declan Donnelly.

Presenters: Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly (ITV)

The presenting duo gave fans a first look at themselves teamed up, with Donnelly cracking a joke about McPartlin.

“Ant’s looking well don’t you think!?” he posted on Instagram. “I’m joking of course, Holly and I are looking forward to welcoming you to Australia next Sunday night.”

Donnelly said this year’s series will be “tinged with sadness” after McPartlin stepped down from all TV duties following his admission to rehab earlier this year.

“As always I'm incredibly excited to be heading to Oz for I'm A Celebrity,” he told The Sun.

Into the jungle: Joe Swash, Scarlett Moffatt and Joel Dommett will present Extra Camp (ITV/REX)

“It is obviously tinged with sadness that Ant won’t be coming this year, I’m going to really miss him, but it’s only for one series and he’ll be back stronger next year.

“I didn’t want to host this series with another guy so Holly was top of my list.”

He joked Willoughby needs to “toughen up fast” after she admitted to being scared of bugs and easily frightened.

She was left screaming on This Morning last month after taking part in a mock Bush Tucker Trial which saw her having to use her hands to identify objects in wooden boxes.

Nick Knowles, Sair Khan, James McVey, Fleur East and Harry Redknapp are among those rumoured to be heading into the jungle camp after landing Down Under this week.

I’m A Celebrity starts Sunday, ITV at 9pm
