Holly Willoughby shows off her secret tap dancing skills as she returns to This Morning

Holly Willoughby has a hidden talent - and she let This Morning viewers in on the secret on Monday morning.

The presenter and her co-host Phillip Schofield returned to the show on Monday after their summer break and couldn't contain her excitement as she headed back to work.

The duo were joined on the show by the cast of hit musical Anything Goes, and as she celebrated their appearance on the programme, she broke out into a tap dance.

Showing off her secret skill, Holly impressed viewers with her dancing skills in a pretty pink dress.

"It's so good to be back," beamed Holly as she greeted viewers tuned in to the ITV show.

However, she was less than impressed with the good weather.

She added: "As you can see the sun we've been waiting on all summer has decided to come back the day we go back to work."

Fans were thrilled to see Phillip and Holly back on their screens.

"Daytime television just wouldn't the same without Holly & Phil on #ThisMorning and i'm just so happy to see the duo back on our screens!" one wrote.

Another added: "NORMALITY IS RESTORED!! It’s been a long 6 weeks. But the legends are back. Love holly and phil. #ThisMorning."

"Tap dancing on a Monday morning!! You can tell Phil & Holly are back! #ThisMorning," a third wrote.

She tap danced for viewers as they introduced the cast of Anything Goes (ITV)

Holly had previously confessed she had a great summer with her family - her husband Daniel and their kids, Chester, six, Belle, 10, and Harry, 12.

"Time with my family over the summer is the best, but I always look forward to seeing my second family back at This Morning," she said.

"The return in September is always quite an exciting time to learn about what we've got coming up over the next year and it amazes me how the team always come up with new and fresh ideas every time."

Phillip was also excited about returning to hosting duties on the show.

"It’s nice to have a bit of time off over the summer to catch up with friends and family and I love getting out in the garden and pouring a gin and tonic," he told ITV.

"The return in September is always quite an exciting time to learn about what we've got coming up over the next year and it amazes me how the team always come up with new and fresh ideas every time."
