Holly Willoughby shares rare glimpse into private life as she enjoys making pancakes with children

Holly Willoughby gave fans a glimpse into her life away from the screen as she enjoyed spending some time with her family.

The This Morning presenter shared a string of snaps of her children Harry, nine, and Belle, seven, testing out their pancake-making skills.

One shot showed four-year-old Chester giving it his all as he leaned over the worktop to stir the batter.

Another showed him using a squeeze bottle to create his abstract alien on the flat-top.

His sister Belle, seven, tackled an outline of a unicorn as she used different colours to bring her edible treat to life.

Willoughby teased that the pair were competing in a “challenge” to see who could get the best creation.

She captioned the post: “Pancake day challenge... girl vs boys / unicorn vs alien.”

Fans praised the “cute” snaps but were quick to mock Willoughby, telling her not to attempt flipping them after she competed in a fierce Pancake Day race against co-host Phillip Schofield.

One user wrote: "I hope you didn't try flipping them!"

Another added: "Awh aren’t they both just adorable!!"

Despite eventually winning, Willoughby came across a number of hurdles as she dropped the cooked batter repeatedly during the race.

Philip Schofield swears during pancake flipping race

The intense race saw Schofield accidentally swear live on air after his pancake slipped out of the pan.

He left fuming as he attempted to pick up the snack from the floor, leaving viewers baffled when he shouted: “Oh s****!”

He later apologised for the mishap, admitting he “semi-swore” during the race.

Willoughby is also mother to nine-year-old Harry with husband Daniel Baldwin.
