Holly Willoughby screeches at husband as he pranks her and 'bestie' Phillip Schofield on joint holiday

Holly Willoughby was left screeching at her husband as he pulled a prank on her and co-host Phillip Schofield whilst filming an Instagram story.

The This Morning duo are currently off the air and the 'besties' are enjoying their summer with a joint holiday in Portugal.

Phil was quick to document the duo's trip taking to the photo sharing platform.

Posting to his Instagram story, Schofe posed for a picture with his ITV pal with the caption: "There she is," before adding the hashtag 'bestie'.

But then it all went a bit punk'd as the 56-year-old presenter then shared a video of the pair and as he began to speak, he was suddenly squirted with suncream by Holly's husband Dan Baldwin who was just out of shot.

It went a bit wrong thanks to Dan... (Phillip Schofield Instagram)

As the mum-of-three screams, Phil lets out an expletive before Holly shouts to her hubby: "What is that, oh my gosh, Daniel!!!"

And it didn't stop there as karma came back to bite Dan in Phil's next video.

The 43-year-old producer can be seen sat dangling his legs above a fast flowing river but disaster struck when his very expensive sunglasses fell and were swept away by the water.

Holly, 39, again squealed along with Phil as her husband said: "Noooo, they're gone, they were expensive, nooooooo."

But it looks like the river got its own back! (Phillip Schofield Instagram)

Holly and Phil will be absent from This Morning until next month and instead, fans of the popular ITV daytime show will be kept entertained by Friday hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

Pals Holly and Phil presented their last show on Friday (July 12).
