Holly Willoughby demanded that Gino D'Acampo "hurry up" after realising that he had failed to make it to the This Morning studio today.
The Italian chef has been due to say hello to Holly and co-star Phillip Schofield in the kitchen and reveal that he would be making truffles.
But instead, the pair were greeted by an empty kitchen.
Introducing the line-up for today's show, Phil said: "Chaos in the kitchen - Gino is here for his Tuesday truffle class - morning Gino!"
"Morning Gino," Holly quipped.
However, the camera then panned to an empty kitchen, leaving Holly and Phil with raised eyebrows.
Phil remarked: "He did promise he'd be here for the beginning but, as usual, nah. Hasn't made it in."
Holly joked: "I love how we used to readjust things, our timings to fit for him and now we're like, no whatever - he's not here!"
Phil called out to Gino: "See you in a bit!"
While Holly added: "Wherever you are, hurry up!"
