Holly Willoughby says she'll 'lick' Phil's face to celebrate the end of lockdown restrictions

Holly Willoughby said she'll 'lick' Phillip Schofield's face to celebrate the end of lockdown and social distancing measures on June 21.

The infamous This Morning duo were discussing Boris Johnson's roadmap out of current measures with both getting caught up in the excitement.

Holly asked Phil: "What are you going to do first (once lockdown is over)."

Phil's struggled to think for a second before replying: "I just want somebody to sit in the garden!", to which Holly reminded him he could do that from March 29.

"It's all down on a chalkboard, what you're allowed to do.", said Phil before Holly added: "It's a Monday, the first thing I'm going to do is hug you..."

Phil bursts into laughter as Holly says "I'll lick your face" to celebrate the end of lockdown and social distancing measures in England from June 21 (ITV | This Morning)

However, what she said next left Phil in stitches: "... I might lick your face!"

"On the 21st June, you're going to lick my face?!?", said Phil, before Holly added: "I might do, yeah!".

The duo then discussed the possibility of finally being able to sit next to each other once more after almost a year sitting two metres from each other in the studio:

"Can you imagine how weird it's going to be? I'm assuming then, because in the building and ITV, we've got our own sort of rules, so assuming we follow with our roadmap, that means I could actually pick this up and come and sit over there.", said Phil:

"That will be the truest sign after all we've been through together since last March... maybe that will be the sign for me when I can pick my chair up and come over there."

Holly added: "Definitely! Soon, it's happening guys!"

This Morning viewers shared their own excitement with Holly and Phil on Twitter.

One person said: "As soon as this lockdown ends I'm going to see my boyfriend and hug him and my grandma too who I've not seen since March."

Another added: "Oh don't, I’m crying here lol I'm like a kid looking forward to 6 week holidays, or Christmas, that excited feeling in your gut of some things good coming."

A third Tweeted: "Lick your face!” Hahaha love it..."

This Morning returns at 10am every weekday morning on ITV.
