Holly Willoughby's special ITV This Morning guest steals the show after 'naughty' weekend

Holly Willoughby had a special guest of her own as she kickstarted the latest week of This Morning.

The presenter was back on the ITV daytime show with Phillip Schofield - and she brought a piece of home with her.

Holly's pet pup Bailey had accompanied her into the studio after she got up to mischief over the weekend.

"Looks who's joined us in the studio," the delighted 41-year-old declared after returning from a break with her pooch sprawled on the famous sofa between herself and Phil, 59.

"She's obviously really stressed out about the whole thing," Holly sarcastically said as Bailey got a fuss from Phil.

"She knows everyone's going to tell her off about shoes...

"Welcome back," the mum-of-three added. "She's grown a bit hasn't she?"

Phil then prompted his co-host to explain Bailey's appearance on the show.

"Well, those are my shoes over there," Holly pointed as the camera closed in on a pair of spotty black heels.

"Lovely shoes, went out, came downstairs the next morning and she'd just stripped the heel of one of them," the TV star explained before telling her pup she had 'expensive taste'.

Phillip defended Bailey and said it was an 'overreaction' as they based a segment around naughty pets.

"We just wanted an excuse to bring her in," Holly laughed before explaining they were being joined by the 'dog father' Graham Hall the answer viewers' mischievous pet woes.

Bailey then did a runner from the sofa before Holly lured her back with chicken.

Soon after, during a game of Spin to Win, Bailey took a wander around the studio, getting the attention of the behind-the-scenes team and completely stealing the show.

"No distraction here," Phil laughed before her continued to try and explain the game's rules.
