Holly Willoughby's sister Kelly has said missing Christmas with This Morning star Holly is "beyond heartbreaking".
Holly lives in London with her husband Dan and their three children meaning she will be forced to miss out on seeing her other family members as the capital was plunged into Tier 4 by Boris Johnson last night.
Under the Tier 4 rules people are unable to meet anyone outside their household on Christmas Day, meaning millions of people have had their Christmas plans destroyed with less than a week to go until the big day.
Kelly is very close to her sister and tonight she shared a snap of her and Holly together as she said she was "so sad" they wouldn't be able to see each other over the festive period.
She said: "So sad I can’t be with my @hollywilloughby for the first time in 40 years.
"Thinking of everyone who can’t be with their favourite people this Christmas. It’s beyond heartbreaking.
"Do something now to try and keep your head straight.
"I can’t knit for toffee but giving it a bloody go....oh and have cracked open the Christmas booze...and on second tub of chocs."
