Holly Willoughby's Dancing on Ice dress ruffles feathers as she wears bridal gown for live show

For the second week in succession Holly Willoughby has Dancing on Ice viewers flooding social media with reactions to her choice of outfit.

Last Sunday, within seconds of the ITV show returning for a new series, Twitter was awash with comments about the This Morning star's dress - a plunging floor-length pink gown from Dany Atrache Couture which was adorned with feathers and sequins.

It divided opinion with some viewers praising Holly looking "stunning" while others argued if its rather revealing style was suitable for "a family show."

Well, undeterred by some of the negativity last week's fashion pick received, Holly went for feathers again, with an off the shoulder bridal gown by Kate Halfpenny.

Giving her many Instagram followers a first look at the dress hours before cameras rolled on this weekend's programme, Holly wrote: " Baby it’s cold outside but things are heating up on the ice..."

She accessorised the striking dress with pearls from Yoko London and shoes from Sophia Webster.

As soon as the latest Dancing on Ice live show got going at 6pm, viewers were quick to go to Twitter with their reaction to Holly's outfit.

Clearly not a fan, and taking aim at Holly's co-host Phillip Schofield as well, one ranted: "Never usually watch Dancing on Ice, and I’m wondering what’s going on with the wardrobe choices!! Horrific outfits! Pip Schofield is dressed like a dodgy uncle from the 70s, and lovely Holly’s frock is nasty!!"

In agreement, another tweeted: "That outfit is better than last weeks Holly. Still don’t like it though"

However, just like seven days ago, Holly's outfit hit the right note with many others watching at home. One posted: "love Holly's dress it's georgous she looks stunning," and another enthused: "LOVE Holly's dress tonight!"
