Holly Willoughby gave a brutal reply when Piers Morgan asked her about co-hosting Good Morning Britain.
The 56-year-old presenter walked out of his role on the ITV morning news programme earlier this year.
While he was still at the helm, he spotted the front cover of a magazine which asked whether Holly Willoughby and Piers Morgan could be the dream team that saves GMB - as Manchester Evening News reports.

Piers Morgan spoke in his MailOnline column that he reached out to the This Morning presenter to joke that he 'wants the biggest dressing room.'
But the 40-year-old - who is currently enjoying a summer break away from her hosting duties - responded in the most brutal way.
She said: “You can have it. I won’t be there.”
Piers Morgan said he wouldn't expect the dream team to unite on screen anytime soon.
After his exit from Good Morning Britain, the mum-of-three also asked the controversial journalist whether he has considered meditation.
But Piers declined the offer, adding: "Problem is that I can’t imagine anything more boring than not being ruled by my emotions."
Holly Willoughby has currently teamed up with The Chase's Bradley Walsh to present Take-Off which airs Saturdays on BBC One at 6pm.
