Holly Willoughby put on a brave face as she returned to work after attending her nan’s funeral.
The much-loved presenter was absent from This Morning on Tuesday as she said goodbye to her “beautiful nan”.
But Willoughby managed to stick on a smile and get back to work in the evening as she kicked off filming for a new series of Celebrity Juice.
Willoughby was snapped giggling with teammates Emily Atack and John Barrowman, as the trio enjoyed a mini I’m A Celebrity reunion.
Other snaps from the set showed Willoughby filming with new team captain Paddy McGuinness, who will take charge of the opposite team in place of Fearne Cotton.
Earlier in the day, Willoughby paid tribute to her nan as her family prepared for her funeral.
“Today we say goodbye for a little while to my beautiful Nan,” she wrote alongside a selfie with the 90-year-old. “Go and be with Grandad... he’s been waiting for you... love you... miss you...”
Her co-host Phillip Schofield sent a message of condolence to the family as he opened This Morning with her stand-in Rylan Clark-Neal.
He said: “Holly’s not here today, sadly her Nan has passed away and today is the funeral.
“We’re sending lots and lots of love to the whole family and especially to Holly’s mum Lynne.”
