Holly Willoughby necks cocktails and bubbly on boozy last day at This Morning

Holly Willoughby giggled as she necked cocktails and bubbly on her boozy last day at This Morning.

The telly beauty, 38, and her presenting partner Philip Schofield were celebrating their final day of work before the school holidays with a summer drinks segment.

Holly couldn't resist getting stuck into all the boozy creations and was seen gulping down Champagne cocktails and a special creation made with Aperol and rhubarb.

She admitted that an Aperol spirtz is her favourite drink, and Phil joked she likes the boozy beverage so much it actually turns her orange.

He laughed: "A lot of people think she's got incredible tan - she's been dyed by this stuff."

Holly joked that she'll be almost completely orange by the time the presenters return to TV in two months time.

She added: "I look forward to that in September."

The pair are taking the rest of the summer off to spend time with their families, and they've revealed Eamonn Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford are taking over.

Holly and Phil made a special appearance on today's show even though they don't normally work Fridays to say goodbye.

At the start of the programme, they broke the news about their time off, with Phil saying: "It's out last show before we go on our summer break... [Holly's] head's already on a lounger somewhere."

Holly then added: "But don't worry Eamonn and Ruth will be be here to take you right through until September."

The husband-and-wife duo were the top pick for the job as they usually fill in for Holly and Phil on Fridays.

They will now take on the Monday to Thursday shows while the pair are off, with another presenting duo taking over on Fridays.

This year producers might draft in Rochelle Humes and Mark Wright to take on more of the presenting duties after a successful trial run last week.
