Holly Willoughby was absent from This Morning today, with Alison Hammond taking over on the ITV sofa.
As usual, Phillip Schofield was presenting, while Alison stepped in to replace Holly.
Alison opened the show on Wednesday by switching on the studio Christmas lights.

She also informed viewers she would be standing in for Holly.
Alison said: "I'm here today standing in for Holly who is taking a well earned day off."
Holly wasn't expected to take a day off until Friday.
