Where is Holly Willoughby? Phillip Schofield addresses two-week This Morning absence

Phillip Schofield has addressed Holly Willoughby's absence on This Morning.

Those tuning into the show on Monday morning were left wondering where the presenter was as Rochelle Humes stepped in to replace her.

Welcoming Rochelle to the show, Phil explained his co-host would be taking some time off so she can film BBC show Wim Hof's Superstar Survival.

Holly is set to present the series, which will follow a group of soul-searching celebrities as they embark on an epic adventure of self-improvement under the guidance of 'extreme athlete' and well-being icon Wim Hof, alongside comedian Lee Mack.

Phil explained: "Very busy show for you today, Rochelle is here as you can see keeping Holly's seat warm.

"She's off with the Ice Man, she's making a show away at the moment, she's off for two weeks and Rochelle is here with me for the full two weeks."

Rochelle replied: "Yes, coming to hang out and keep her seat warm."

Holly has previously spoken about teaming up with the BBC for the new show.

She said: "I can't wait to team up with Lee and Wim on this show.

"Lee is a favourite in our house because he's so hilariously funny and I've been a fan of Wim for a long time – he's a genius who’s incredibly passionate about helping others.

"This show is going to be brilliantly entertaining and you never know…you may find out some things that could help you along the way too."
