Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield made a dig at former Coronation Street actress Nicola Thorp over her unimpressed reaction to the news of Boris Johnson's baby.
Today, it was announced that the prime minister's fiancée Carrie Symonds had given birth to a baby boy.
The 55-year-old PM is understood to have been by the 32-year-old's side throughout the birth at a London hospital.
Addressing the birth on This Morning today, Nicola appeared via video link alongside Andrew Castle.

Holly said: "This really is the good news the country needed, isn't it?"
"I mean, it's always good news when a baby's been born," Nicola responded. It's not different to any of the other babies that have arrived in the world today.
"It's obviously a very trying time for the prime minister. He's had the divorce, a fifth or sixth baby, having contracted coronavirus.
"But yeah, I suppose it's a little bit of good news when we needed it."

Phil raised his eyebrows as he pointed out: "You're not really fussed are you?"
"I read between the lines there," Holly quipped.
Earlier today a spokesman for the couple said: "The Prime Minister and Ms Symonds are thrilled to announce the birth of a healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning. Both mother and baby are doing very well.
"The PM and Ms Symonds would like to thank the fantastic NHS maternity team."
It comes weeks after the Prime Minister emerged from intensive care with coronavirus. Mr Johnson will miss PMQs in the Commons today with his deputy Dominic Raab taking his place.
The child arrived two months to the day after the couple announced she was pregnant and they were engaged.
