Holly Willoughby left unimpressed by Matthew Wright's crude childbirth comment

Holly Willoughby looked rather disgusted on This Morning on Monday after Matthew Wright made a crude comment about a new mother.

The 40-year-old TV presenter failed to laugh when dad-of-one Matthew shared his thoughts on the epic fail of one dad - who sent a rather rude picture of his wife to all of his family following the birth of their child.

The man in question was so chuffed following the safe arrival of their baby that he quickly had a photo taken of the three of them, but forgot to crop out his wife's private parts - before sending it to his relatives.

"He was just so giddy and caught up in the moment wasn’t he?" mum-of-three Holly commented.

"He just wanted to share this joy and then he shared a whole lot more!" before prompting Julia Hartley-Brewer to give her take on it.

However, Matthew, 55, butted in and said: "It’s a confusing and emotionally charged experience, and not just for the mum.

"I guess the dad was so desperate to snap his son, he saw an opening and dived straight in, so to speak!" he added, as staff in the studio could be heard laughing and gasping.

Julia also giggled as Phillip leaned back in his chair and glanced at his co-host Holly, who looked pretty unimpressed with the gag.

Viewers watching at home clearly didn't find it funny either, with one person tweeting: "Matthew Wright wrong on so many things. #thismorning."

Another person posted: "Matthew's really pleased with himself on that comment. #ThisMorning."

Elsewhere on Monday's show, Holly admitted that she can only eat mussels in the dark because she can't bear to look at them.
