Holly Willoughby leaves people in stitches after listing the Moon as her employee

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby launched her lifestyle platform this week, but one hilarious addition to the website’s staffing platform has left people giggling.

The company, named Wylde Moon, has a section on its website which introduces visitors to the “Wylde family” – including founder and creative director Holly, as well as her sister Kelly Willoughby as the managing director.

But what visitors to the site were not expecting to see at the bottom of the staff page was the employee responsible for “guidance and intuition” – the actual moon.

Comedian Sarah Keyworth first discovered the bizarre addition and posted a screenshot of the website as evidence on Twitter.

She wrote in a tweet: “ Holly Willoughby has just launched her new business and one of the employees listed is THE MOON.

“Is she paying the moon? Is it on a salary? Does it take holiday?”

Sarah’s tweet has already received dozens of replies from people who were doubled over laughing at the interesting staffing choice – with many turning the moon’s phases into workplace puns.

One person joked: “It only fully turns up for work once every 29.5 days. It’s mostly a part-timer.”

While comedian Mark Watson quipped: “It’s got to be freelance hasn’t it, it can’t be coming into the office every day?”

And a third said: “I hear it's just working in the downtime from its main gig. Moonlighting, if you will.”

"A great employee who may change phases but keeps to its cycle. Although, I worry about its Dark Side," joked another.

Holly, 40, launched her new business venture this week, after revealing the lifestyle platform is rooted in spirituality.

She said: “I want Wylde Moon to be a place where I can share the things that I love, the lessons that I’ve learnt along the way, the things I see and instantly want to share with others. I want it to be a place where we can celebrate other people, too, where we can shine a light on them, their brands. It’s a celebration of all kinds of beauty.

“Over the coming months, Wylde Moon will also begin offering a line of curated products, designed by myself with a team of experts. The Wylde Moon boutique will allow readers to browse the pieces that I genuinely love and have spent the last year working on.”
