Holly Willoughby lands 'new job' with KFC after dressing up as the Colonel

Holly Willoughby landed herself a job offer from KFC after her outfit on This Morning yesterday sparked comparisons to the fast food chain's famous Colonel Sanders.

The telly favourite, 39, wore a chic black and white blouse with dark trousers for the show, and posted a picture of her outfit on her Instagram.

Fans flocked to the page to joke she reminded them of KFC's logo - a portrait of the chain's founder Colonel Sanders in a white shirt with his distinctive black neck tie.

The comments didn't go unnoticed by the brand and they kept the joke going by posting a message to Holly on her page.

They wrote: "You're hired!" and Holly replied with a series of emojis.

Along with the cracks about her KFC-inspired outfit, there were plenty of fans who headed to Holly's page to applaud her fashion sense.

One wrote: "I love this outfit... I reckon they should run a daily comp on insta to win Holly's outfit from that day."

Another added: "Absolutely love your outfit today! Especially your shirt."

A third commented: "You look beautiful and radiant cute and amazing."

Another who weighed in was Holly's pal Nicole Appleton, who wrote: "Fit friend!"

Holly then replied to her saying: "This is a very you outfit!"

However, any fans wanting to copy her look may be left disappointed by the hefty price tag.

Holly's shirt costs £185 from Maje, while the Jigsaw trousers sell for around £135.
