Holly Willoughby issues warning just before ITV This Morning appearance

Holly Willoughby was hoping that those tuning into This Morning may have checked her Instagram page beforehand as she issued a warning. The presenter shared a post with her millions of followers barely 20 minutes before she was due back on the ITV daytime show.

Holly, 41, hasn't been seen at the helm of the programme since last Thursday but was, however, on-screen on Sunday night alongside co-host Phillip Schofield as they headed back rinkside for Dancing on Ice.

But Monday morning meant it was back to the day job and as is Holly's very own tradition, she took to Instagram to share a snap of herself posing backstage as she gave fans all the details about her latest outfit.

The mum-of-three looked gorgeous in a floral, long-sleeved blouse which share wore tucked into a black a-line skirt. She covered her legs in a pair of sheer tights and added a pair of black heels to complete her look.

"Morning Monday… see you on @thismorning at 10am…" Holly typed alongside the image, in which she told her millions of followers that her shirt was from Oasis and skirt from Reserved. But she then issued a warning to to her followers who will also be tuning in to This Morning.

"Talking a lot about Happy Valley today so you have been warned!!!" It comes after the third and final series of the BBC One drama came to an end on Sunday night (February 5). Phillip, 60, also kickstarted the show with warning, telling viewers they'd be talking about it twice throughout the show as they're joined by the stars of the drama.

Happy Valley first burst onto our screens in 2014 when following her teenage daughter's suicide, Sergeant Catherine Cawood led a team of strong-willed police officers in West Yorkshire to solve cases in the area.

However, Catherine heard that Tommy Lee Royce, the man responsible for the brutal rape that impregnated her daughter Becky and drove her to suicide shortly after Ryan was born, is out of prison after serving eight years for drug charges and she soon became obsessed with finding the psychopathic character, unaware that he is involved in the kidnapping of Ann Gallagher.

But now, as they say, the rest is history and after a seven-year wait between series two and series three, viewers finally got to see one last stand-off between Catherine and Tommy following his dramatic escape from the court.

However, Holly may have been a bit busy with Dancing on Ice and has even found herself in hot water with fans. Taking to Instagram after the show, Holly appeared to drop a clanger in the eyes of some fans of Dancing on Ice as she posed up a storm backstage. The 41-year-old looked sensational in a glittering floor-length gown as she styled her trademark blonde locks in tousled waves.

In the black and white image, Holly could be seen grinning away from the camera as she perched on a stool with her silver dress flowing down to the floor. "Thank you for all the dress love… she was a special one for sure! Great night down at the rink…" she wrote to her millions of followers.

She then added: "Sad to say goodbye to @ekinsuofficial tonight… see you next week!!!" and some felt the parting words of her caption were a 'spoiler'. @geordiearmani said: "So many spoilers! Not everyone watches these shows live." @julieo1888 replied: "I hadn’t watched yet. That’s why I have ITV X!" @helengrobson wrote: "Ah man … no need to watch it now #spoiler." @jphfashions added: "Oh @hollywilloughby I'm watching on record and now know who got kicked out."

Others, however, were quick to flood Holly with compliments. TV and radio star Kate Thornton commented: "Holly-wood." Skin and beauty expert Nilam Holmes echoed: "Holly Wood Baby." @nursiejayne shared: "Beautiful dress definitely old Hollywood glamour." @cathcardus wrote: "Pure Hollywood, you looked stunning as always." @debmcd11 added: "The best gown you’ve ever worn, knockout."
