Holly Willoughby in fits of giggles as Phillip Schofield mimes waxing her vagina

Holly Willoughby couldn't stop laughing when Phillip Schofield mimed waxing her vagina.

The star was left a little red-faced as her pal made the cheeky gesture to her during This Morning 's beauty segment.

Sarah Jossel was giving out some waxing tips in her Home Beauty Salon section when the presenting duo shared a private joke off camera.

But when they couldn't stop laughing, they had to explain why.

Sarah was telling people that they should wax in small sections.

She said: "People think it's quicker if it's massive sections, but if you actually cut it into much smaller ones and you do it really quickly, it's the way forward."

The screen went into a three-way split to show Holly and Phil laughing uncontrollably.

Sarah asked: "What did I do? What did I say? What's happened?"

Phil explained: "I was just talking about the size of the section you're doing, I just looked across at Holly and went..."

Phil made a wooshing noise as he mimed ripping a waxing strip from his thighs upwards and over his head.

Holly threw her head back in laughter and clutched her belly as it all got a little too much to handle.

Today's episode of This Morning has been a bit of a chaotic one.

Just before this, Holly stumbled over her lines and accidentally encouraged viewers to dance in their thongs instead of telling them to join in on the dancealong.

She joked: "Well you could if you wanted to, no one will see you."

They also battled chaos with their Spin To Win game.

Holly said: "So you know Spin To Win always goes wrong and every day we find a new way to go wrong."

The camera panned out to show the wheel hanging from the ceiling as Holly continued: "Well today, it's gone for it big time."

Phillip explained it wouldn't come down, despite them "trying very hard" to make it.

Phillip tried to save the day by grabbing a ladder, but he was blasted by producers sitting in the gallery who shouted in his ear to stop him.

Holly said that she'd offer to hold the ladder but that she's not allowed to as it would mean she was standing within 2 metres of him.

* This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10am
