Holly Willoughby horrified by Phillip Schofield's 'a***' comment after sniffing candle

Holly Willoughby was left horrified today after mishearing co-host Phillip Schofield's comment after he smelled a candle on This Morning.

The hosts had been playing Spin To Win where a caller had won £800.

But when it came to explaining what was in the "bag of shizzle", Phil pulled out a candle to show off.

"It smells of the This Morning studio," he said before leaning in to sniff it. "Ah, the aroma of us!"

"It is actu- of what?!" Holly paused mid-sentence, flabbergasted."

"Of us," Phil responded.

Holly gasped before collapsing into laughter: "Oh!"

Bemused, Phil asked: "What did you think I said?"

"Doesn't matter," Holly replied, continuing to giggle.

Phil probed her: "What did you think I said?!"

Holly insisted: "It doesn't matter what I think you said, it's fine! It's fine, its a lovely smelling candle!"

But fans knew what Holly thought she'd heard, with one tweeting with crying laughing emojis: "A**e haha thats what i think she heard anyway."

While another commented: "She heard A**e haha."
