Holly Willoughby heads out for the first time following coronavirus scare

Holly Willoughby has been spotted for the time since revealing her family's coronavirus scare.

The 39-year-old This Morning host had puzzled viewers of This Morning this week when she mysteriously pulled out of episodes of the daytime show this week.

Holly has since revealed the real reason behind her sudden absence was to care for two of her three children after they came down with symptoms of Covid-19.

After sharing the news with fans in an Instagram post, Holly stepped out near her London home with her eldest child Harry, 11, on Saturday.

It was the first time she had been seen since two of her three children were struck down with illness.

Holly grabbed a coffee with lad Harry and she looked very Autumnal in a trendy warm hat and a khaki green jacket.

She sported a pair of sunglasses as her son opted for a laid-back tracksuit and trainers.

Holly has been isolating but enjoyed some vital exercise after her dramatic week.

She revealed how she and her family had to be tested for Covid-19 after displaying symptoms.

Thankfully, the tests came back negative leaving Holly free to return to work next week.

The popular This Morning host was mysteriously missing from episodes of the daytime show leaving Phillip Schofield to host with stand-ins Alison Hammond and Davina McCall.

It left fans concerned at her sudden and unexplained absense.

She finally confirmed why she hadn't been at work with a statement as she thanked viewers for their nice words.

Speaking out about her family's health scare on social media Holly said: "Just wanted to say thank you for all your kind messages.

"Over the last few days two of our children were unwell and had symptoms of COVID.

"In line with government guidelines we were waiting for the results of the tests before I could return to work, couple that with just wanting to look after two poorly children, it meant having two days away from This Morning.

"I chose not to alert everyone to this because my focus was looking after them.

"Thankfully, all tests came back negative and everybody's feeling much better.

The presenter also shares children Belle, nine, and Chester, five, with producer husband Dan Baldwin.

During the summer it was also reported that Holly has left her YMU Entertainment agency to set up her own female-focused management company - Roxy Management.

The Sun reported Holly wanted to be able to take more control and improve her “work-life balance”.

A source said: "Lockdown has given her time to reflect and think about her future.

"In many ways, it has become the perfect opportunity to start afresh and it was just time for a change.

"She is really excited about managing herself and having more say over decisions on a day-to-day basis."
