Holly Willoughby shares rare snap of her son as she admits she fears too much screen time

Holly Willoughby has been vocal about her fears about homeschooling her children amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The mother-of-three, 39, who juggles her high-profile job with being a parent, rarely shares snaps of her brood online but she made an exception on Tuesday by posting an image of her reading to her youngest son.

Stunning Holly captured the snap as she read to Chester and captioned the offering: "Eat, Sleep, Read, Repeat..."

The selfie showed the ITV star smiling in a beige jumper and jeans as Chester - whose face was concealed - sat on her lap engrossed in his reading material.

Earlier, Holly expressed her biggest fears about homeschooling as she hosted This Morning.

The mother to Belle, Harry and Chester, admitted her worries during a special call in segment with headteacher Christine Cunniffe questions about homeschooling.

Wrapping up the segment, Holly jumped on the opportunity to ask the headteacher her own question which had been troubling her.

The Dancing On Ice host told that she is concerned about the amount of screen time her children have been consuming during lockdown.

Holly explained she has been sitting her children in front of a screen for online learning.

But she was worried because her children then wanted to spend more time in front of a screen after their school work was done.

Holly said: "My big fear is we've all worked really hard not to put our kids in front of screens. And the screen time, do I toss it up?

"Here I am homeschooling three children, learning in front of a screen, then they want to talk to friends that's on a screen, then game that's on a screen. And I'm throwing it out the window. Am I holding back the tide of screen time?

Holly spoke about her homeschooling fears on Monday's This Morning (ITV)

It was advised Holly continued to let her children engage with their friends on screens after their online learning sessions.

The headteacher responded it was important children were engaging with friends at this time.

Christine said: "Only so much they can do. They need engagement with friends. But it's just balancing it... It's hard for everyone."

Holly had to take days off her This Morning duties when the government closed schools in the UK amid the coronavirus pandemic for the third lockdown.

The presenter had to make arrangements for her children while she was working at the TV studios.
