Holly Willoughby forced to apologise after This Morning outfit mishap

This Morning host Holly Willoughby found herself being hilariously called out by co-host Phillip Schofield on the show on Monday because of a request.

Holly donned a stunning cream woolen jumper and skirt combo for the latest visit to the studio.

But the mum of three admitted she was rather hot in the outfit, and had to keep fanning herself down.

Eventually, Holly admitted she requested the air conditioning in the studio to be amped up to cool her down, leading to not so comfortable working conditions for the rest of the team.

As the pair sat down, Phillip began to shiver and said: "Oh I'm so cold."

Holly was quick to pipe up: "I see where he's going... so I am wearing full on wool so I am quite hot."

Phillip interrupted: "She's turned the air conditioning up to full, so it's freezing in here so you're not sweating."

Holly was in hysterics as she confessed everyone was cold because of her request, but even the air conditioning wasn't enough to stop her feeling hot.

The sound of wind kept playing, to which Holly apologised and added: "Sorry, turn it up it's fine. If I start sweating you know why."

Then later on in the show, the air conditioning remained super high to the point the guest chef wasn't so sure he'd return.

He confessed that while he liked to come back, he didn't when it was "freezing cold like it is this morning."

Holly replied: "Oh sorry, sorry!" before the trio laughed it off.

The outfit may have been a little too warm, but viewers were certainly impressed with Holly's latest look.

This Morning airs weekdays and Sundays at 10:30am on ITV.
