Holly Willoughby apologises after startling Line of Duty star into swearing live on air

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were forced to apologise to This Morning viewers after they accidentally startled Line of Duty star Stephen Graham.

The presenters had been interviewing him about his new series Code 404 with Daniel Mays via video link.

Phil then pointed out a hoard of presents beside the fire place behind him, but appeared to mishear him.

He said: "Stephen, I don't know if you've realised but Father Christmas has been."

The actor looked worried as he looked at the camera, saying: "What?"

"Your chimney," Phil responded as Stephen turned around frantically.

"It looks like you've got a load of gifts," Holly explained.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Stephen put his hands to his chest and said: "I nearly s*** myself!"

Instantly realising what he said, he put his hands over his mouth and added: "Whoops, sorry!"

Holly added to viewers: "Sorry about that!"

"That's the craft corner," the actor explained, looking embarassed.

Phil laughed and said: "I thought you said crap! Crap corner!"

Holly and Phil continued to giggle afterwards over the awkward misunderstandings.
