Holly Willoughby floors fans with stunning fresh-faced selfie in female empowerment post

Holly Willoughby's latest Instagram offering has fans swooning.

This Morning's Holly, 39, posted a close-up black and white snap as part of a social media trend to promote female empowerment.

"Challenge accepted @shishib @angiesmithstyle @patsyoneillmakeup...Always and forever I will lift up and support my womenfolk #womensempowerment #womensupportingwomen," Holly wrote.

And of course she was swamped with adoring comments.

"Ure so beautiful and you make everyone so happy x," one gushed.

"Just stunning," a second wrote.

"You and so beautiful inside and out," a third penned.

A fourth branded Holly "absolutely awesome and so beautiful", while a fifth called her "a natural beauty."

Holly and This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield have been constant telly companions for the nation amid the doom and gloom of lockdown, with Holly penning an emotional thank you note to loyal viewers tuning in.

"Thank you..." she wrote, "thank you for staying with us over the last 109 days...When we began this new way of broadcasting, we had no idea how long we would be able to come in, or whether it would be our last time broadcasting from the studio during lockdown.

She thanked Phil and the whole team, before announcing she'd be back following a break in September.

"What a strange time...Feeling incredibly grateful...Huge love, thank you again...See you in Septmeber."

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are filling in for Holly and Phil as they take their much needed break.

Meanwhile, over at Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid are also taking time out - Ben Shephard and the newly returned Kate Garraway gracing our screens in their place.

Holly made waves earlier this year with the announcement that she'd be departing from her Celebrity Juice gig, a role she's filled for more than 10 years.

"Thank you @celebjuiceofficial for 12 years of fantastic chaos..." she wrote in an emotional goodbye note.

"I can't quite believe what we've done and how quick that time has gone. Thank you to you all for watching, we've always had the loudest and best audiences."
